1. Acceptance of these terms
By downloading or using the Flourhands mobile app or this website (together, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The service
Flourhands is a recipe app for home cooks and bakers. You can browse published recipes, build a private cookbook of your own, scan recipes from photos, share recipes and cooking activity with your household — a small invite-only group — and cook hands-free in Cooking Mode, with step timers and notifications that wake you when a long rest is done. We may add, change, or remove features at any time as the app evolves.
3. Your account
Some parts of Flourhands work without an account, but you need one to save or create recipes and to join a household. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service
- Upload content — recipes, photos, or names — that is unlawful, offensive, or that you don't have the right to share
5. Price
Flourhands is free. There are no purchases, subscriptions, or paid features.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the recipes and photos you create in Flourhands. By using the Service, you grant us the limited licence needed to store, back up, and display that content — to you, and to the members of your household when you share it with them. When you scan a recipe photo, you also allow us to send that photo to our AI provider to extract the recipe text; see the Privacy Policy for details.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, code, and branding, belongs to Kealy Studio and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. Recipes — including those extracted from photos by AI — are provided for general information: use your own judgement about cooking times, food safety, and allergens.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kealy Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
10. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time — see the data deletion page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Spain.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
